The number 1 position is held by Pakistan ace Cricketer Shahid Afridi for hitting the most number of sixes in ODI, Afridi has hit 351 Sixes in his long Career holding the record at number one position. 

Shahid Afridi held the record for hitting most sixes for many years and still leading the chart with a huge distance. Afridi has hit 351 sixes and the second position is 270 sixes by Jayasuriya topping the record by a difference of 80 sixes and will hold that record even further because no batsmen currently playing ODI game has come near him.

India won by 26 runs 1st ODI against Australia 2017

India vs Australia, 1st ODI at Chennai | India Won the match by 26 Runs by DL Method

The first ODI of the series of the Australia tour of India in 2017 started with a fierce battle between both the side by India dominating in the End.

In the first ODI at Chennai, Team India score a 280+ Runs in the first innings while the rain affected the game when Australian were about to bat and thus, the score was decreased by DL method and getting the target to chase was 164 Runs in 21 Overs.

The Indian batting was conquered by Former Captain MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya both play brilliantly to take the team total to 280+ Runs and then Pandya followed up with the ball and picks up two crucial wickets one including Australian Captain Steve Smith. Pandya also gave his hundred percent on the field and play a vital role.

The Indian spin duo Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav trouble the Aussies middle order batsmen and picks up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
